Our vision
our FOUNders
Sustainable Farming Partnership was founded by brothers, Craig and Ryan Baxter.
Craig has a 2:1 BSc (Hons) degree in Agriculture from the Royal Agricultural University. He runs the business operationally, and with tremendous drive and passion has grown this to what it is today.
Craig has over 10 years of experience in farming and seeks to make continuous, systematic improvements to improve livestock management and welfare. This is the result of trialing approaches and products to draw comparison and keep ahead in a competitive industry and environment.
Craig’s practical experience is drawn from numerous large scale arable and livestock farmers with whom he has worked.
Ryan Baxter is a chartered accountant who trained, qualified and worked for over seven years for Grant Thornton, and is now a Senior Manager at accounting firm Saffery Champness. He leads on strategy and finance, and has been instrumental to the sustained growth of the business since its formation.
Ryan has a passion for farming and agribusiness, and brings his professional insight and experience to the business.

our land partners
We work with responsible and well known landowners including Nene Park Trust and The Wildlife Trust, delivering farming and land management strategies alongside experts including Brown & Co and Strutt & Parker.
The land we farm requires sensitive and active management, and includes restored quarries, wildflower meadows, land covering an ancient roman settlement and ancient woodland.
Our partners share our passion for sustainable farming and for the environment. We tailor grazing plans that are set to benefit and achieve environmental objectives.

Working with us
Our unique partnership model means we do not own any land. Instead, we carefully select like-minded landowner partners to work with us in pursuit of truly sustainable livestock farming.
We are experienced in building relationships on trust and partnering with landowners to ensure that together, we are greater than the sum of our parts.
Our sound financial base means we are a dependable partner that continues to invest in livestock and machinery, delivering the best results environmentally and economically. A key area of investment is in data collection and management. This means that we have detailed electronic records for every single animal under our management, allowing us to make informed and commercial data led decisions to continue to improve flock and herd health, efficiency and prolificacy.
Our share farming offering encompasses not just the farming, but also the record keeping and management reporting of finances. Having a Chartered Accountant in our ranks means we are able to deliver an attractive and unique service to our landowner partners, with true piece of mind over the integrity and accuracy of the underlying share farming accounts.
We are always delighted to hear from landowners and prospective partners. If you would like to hear more about working with us, please get in touch using our contact page.
